Compass Academy Network (CAN) is an enrichment program for low-income students in grades 6 through 8 from rural public school districts.
CAN partners with rural school districts to promote a continuation of growth and learning though the summer months. The program’s objective is to position students to return to their schools in the fall empowered and motivated to start the year with enthusiasm and strengthened skills.
The summer program is reinforced with quarterly gatherings during the academic year with CAN faculty and peer advisors who provide personalized support, guidance, and encouragement to support the students’ continued growth and development as individuals, students, and citizens.
